Fancy Knitting Stitch: Drop Stitch

The swatch you see in the picture has been made using size 10 mm / US 15 Beechwood Knitting Needles (you can choose the right needle size adjusting to your yarn and tension) and BettaKnit’s Fettuccine, a pure cotton tape yarn, in the color Peach 🍑
What are the stitches and techniques you need to know?
- Knit
- Purl
- Elongated stitch

Drop Stitch Tutorial
Cast on any number of stitches.
Row 1 (RS = right side):
- *Purl 1 elongated stitch (purl wrapping the yarn 3 times around the needle before pulling it out of the loop)*.
- Repeat from * to * until the end of the row.
Row 2 (WS = wrong side):
Knit all the stitches unravelling the yarn wrapped around the needle.
Rows 3 and 5:
Knit rows.
Rows 4 and 6:
Purl rows.
Repeat Rows 1 – 6 until your piece is the length your project requires.
